As a part of the Global Studies Program, each student is required to write 9 reflections on events we've attended outside of seminar.
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts was a trip with the Creative Arts students where we got to see the site of Woodstock 69'. We got to learn about how Woodstock wasn't just for music but so much more!
The Sports and Human Rights conference had so many eyeopening disccusions that brought to light just how many different ways human rights are violated today. We heard from so many speakers who brought their speciality and what they cared about to the conversation.
The coverstation with the ambassor of Mexico to the U.S was such a educational event. He spoke so much about relationships between North American Countries. He also spoke very highly of the U.S which I wasn't expecting
Watkinson's production of The Diary of Anne Frank
The Diary of Anne Frank was such a nicely thought out play. They captured the true fear and terror of what it was like being a young Jewish girl during the Holocaust.
This Forum was one of my favorites I've attended so far. Although I was livestreamed in, I was still engaged with the conversation just as much. They spoke about the political future of the parties. I enjoyed being able to see two people with opposing views speak to each other respectfully.
